Shelter Services
Project Woman provides victims/survivors of domestic violence and their children with safe, secure, temporary shelter in a comfortable atmosphere. Abused males are provided with safe shelter when needed.
The location of the shelter is designed to meet the resident's physical needs by providing food, clothing, and personal items and their emotional needs through individual and group counseling and other support services. Shelter staff provides case management by linking residents to other agencies and services, including medical, mental health, permanent housing, education and employment opportunities.
