S.O.S. Campaign
Sponsor Our Shelter
Over the past year Project Woman has experienced an increase in demand for all of the services we provide to the community. The largest change has occurred at our shelter with a 190 percent increase in the number of shelter nights from July – December of fiscal year 2009 to July – December of fiscal year 2010. Unfortunately, at the same time our funding has been cut by $80,000. We are working hard to find grants, but we are looking to the community to help us continue operating through the rest of this fiscal year. Therefore, we are asking you to help us in ending family violence by becoming a Project Woman member. Membership is only $20. Our goal is to get 2,000 members to reach a needed goal of $40,000, enabling us to keep our shelter open!
